At least 21 people were killed in a multi-vehicle road crash in South Africa’s Western Cape province on Sunday night, the national traffic agency and local authorities said Monday, the Associated Press reported.The crash involved two minibus taxis and another vehicle on the N1 highway between Prince Albert and Leeu-Gamka, around 380 kilometres east of Cape Town, the Road Traffic Management Corporation said in a post on X.The accident occurred at around 11.30pm, according to Muneera Allie, spokesperson for Western Cape Mobility, the provincial transport department.Several other people sustained serious injuries, the department said.
