GURGAON: A day after a video showing a Thar repeatedly ramming into a cab in Sector 89 went viral on social media, another video of a similar road rage incident surfaced on Saturday, this time from Sector 38, where two car drivers allegedly rammed their vehicles into each other following an altercation.The video, which has been circulating on social media, shows a Maruti Baleno and a Hyundai Aura repeatedly hitting each other on a road late at night.At one point, a man is also seen being struck by one of the vehicles. The car then appears to move towards him again, in what seems to be an attempt to run him over, before he narrowly moves out of its path.Police, however, said no complaint had been received in connection with the incident and no FIR had been registered as of Saturday evening.“We have not received any complaint regarding the matter. Therefore, no FIR has been registered,” a police officer said.The circumstances leading to the altercation, the identities of those involved and whether anyone was injured are yet to be established.Police are also expected to verify the video and ascertain the sequence of events if a complaint is submitted.The incident comes a day after a similar case in Sector 89, where four men travelling in a Delhi-registered Thar allegedly got into a fight before one of them repeatedly rammed the SUV into a Rapido cab.Police said the four men had an argument inside the Thar, which turned physical.Two of them then booked a Rapido cab to leave the spot. As they were getting into the cab, the Thar driver allegedly drove towards it and rammed it.He then reversed the SUV, accelerated and struck the cab several times.The impact deployed both front airbags of the cab and caused extensive damage to its front and side. The cab driver and two passengers escaped unhurt.Passersby recorded the incident, and the video showed the Thar repeatedly reversing and crashing into the cab before the driver fled.Witnesses told police that the men appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, though this was yet to be verified.The cab driver had approached Kherki Daula police station. Police said they were using the Thar’s registration number to identify those involved and examining footage recorded at the spot.As of Saturday evening, an FIR in that case was also yet to be registered.
