Sachin Pilot becomes Congress’s general secretary for Punjab unit
NEW DELHI: The Congress on Saturday appointed Sachin Pilot as the party’s general secretary in-charge of Punjab, replacing Bhupesh Baghel, news agency PTI reported.The appointment comes as Congress prepares to strengthen its organisation and political strategy in the state ahead of the Punjab assembly elections.Baghel had been serving as the party’s Punjab in-charge since 2023.
