NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday expressed “strong disapproval” of the Bar Council of India’s (BCI) now-revoked order barring the enrolment of 2026 graduates of Hyderabad’s NALSAR University of Law as advocates after a section of students objected to the university inviting Chief Justice of India Surya Kant as the chief guest at its convocation ceremony.Kant, heading a bench also comprising Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana, said students have a right to protest peacefully and described the episode as a “dialogue” between him and the students.(Developing story)
