Apple iPhone 18 Pro series has been launched, and on the heels of the unveiling, Apple has adjusted its iPhone pricing hierarchy in India, introducing significant upward price revisions across both current-generation and earlier models. The base variant, which was launched starting at Rs 82,900 for the 256GB version, is now available for purchase at a starting price of Rs 99,900. The 512GB version is now priced at Rs 1,24,900. The phone comes in five distinct finish options: mist blue, sage, lavender, black and white. Apple has also increased the prices of iPhone 16, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air.

The entry-tier iPhone 17e sees a Rs 15,000 increase, climbing from its introductory Rs 64,900 tag to Rs 79,900. Meanwhile, the older iPhone 16 jumps by Rs 10,000 to reach Rs 89,900. The standard iPhone 17 experiences a steep Rs 17,000 price hike, shifting from its Rs 82,900 launch benchmark up to Rs 99,900. Delivering the most pronounced increase across the lineup, the premium ultra-thin iPhone Air surges by Rs 30,000, resetting its initial retail entry from Rs 1,19,900 up to Rs 1,49,900.

The iPhone 17 gets a 6.3-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate, previously restricted to top-end Pro models. Peak brightness now reaches 3,000 nits, alongside support for an always-on display. The glass incorporates a newly formulated Ceramic Shield 2 to defend against daily abrasions, backed by an anti-reflective layer to cut down on sunlight glare. Under the hood, the iPhone 17 is powered by the A19 SoC. The silicon is specifically tuned to run upcoming artificial intelligence (AI) features, while working together with the higher refresh rate screen to deliver responsive mobile gaming.Apple overhauled both the back and front camera modules. The rear layout pairs a 48MP primary sensor with an optical 2x telephoto crop into an integrated system, alongside an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide shooter that pulls in sharper scenes. The front camera switches to an 18MP square configuration, letting users shoot wide landscape portraits without needing to rotate the handset horizontally. It also adds Center Stage to automatically keep subjects centered during video calls. According to Apple, iPhone 17 offers up to 30 hours of video playback, which is 8 more hours than the iPhone 16.The iPhone Air gets a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED, 120Hz ProMotion, Always-On, Dynamic Island, 3,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the phone is powered by A19 Pro chip. It gets a 48MP Fusion rear camera and 18MP Center Stage front. The phone packs a battery that is claimed to offer up to 27 hours video playback, fast and wireless charging.
