‘Hanuman Ansh’ continues its remarkable theatrical run on Day 34. The Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand starrer has emerged as a surprise blockbuster after gaining momentum several weeks into its release. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 10.25 cr net in India on its 34th day. The collection came from 7,810 shows, with an overall occupancy of 35.0%.The latest figure is 4.7% lower than the Rs 10.75 cr earned on Day 33. With the Day 34 earnings added, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has taken its India net collection to Rs 153.13 cr. Its India gross collection has reached Rs 180.95 cr. The film has also officially crossed the Rs 150 cr milestone in India net collections.
Strong growth after a slow beginning
‘Hanuman Ansh’ had a modest start at the box office. It collected Rs 10 lakhs on its opening Friday from 355 shows at 10.0% occupancy. Saturday brought Rs 20 lakhs from 323 shows at 19.0%, while Sunday added Rs 0.30 cr from 330 shows at 27.0%.The film earned Rs 10 lakhs on Monday from 293 shows at 12.0%. Tuesday and Wednesday each brought Rs 13 lakhs, from 299 and 290 shows respectively. The occupancies were 21.0% and 16.0%. Thursday added Rs 12 lakhs from 262 shows at 16.0%. The first week closed at Rs 1.08 cr.The second week contributed only Rs 40 lakhs. The film then witnessed a significant rise during its third week, collecting Rs 10.40 cr.
Fourth week brings Rs 61 cr
The fourth week marked another major turning point for the film. ‘Hanuman Ansh’ collected Rs 6.25 cr on Friday from 2,829 shows at 52.0% occupancy. Saturday brought Rs 9.25 cr from 4,137 shows at 53.0%. The film peaked at Rs 12.75 cr on Sunday from 5,363 shows, recording 55.0% occupancy. Monday added Rs 5.50 cr from 6,587 shows at 22.0%. Tuesday brought Rs 8.50 cr from 7,008 shows at 46.0%.Wednesday and Thursday contributed Rs 7.75 cr and Rs 11.00 cr from 7,037 and 7,055 shows. Their occupancies were 29.0% and 41.0%. Fifth week remains strong
The film entered its fifth week with Rs 10.00 cr on Friday. It was screened across 5,055 shows and recorded 47.0% occupancy. Saturday delivered Rs 16.50 cr from 6,055 shows at 62.0%. Sunday saw another major jump, with the film collecting Rs 22.75 cr from 7,077 shows at 73.0% occupancy. Monday brought Rs 10.00 cr from 7,343 shows at 36.0%.The film then earned Rs 10.75 cr on Tuesday from 7,778 shows at 50.0%. Day 34 saw Rs 10.25 cr from 7,810 shows at 35.0% occupancy.For the Hindi 2D version, overall occupancy on Day 34 stood at 33.96%.
