Reliance Jio has brought back its Jio Prime membership scheme and announced a one-year price protection guarantee along with several benefits for its subscriber base of over 500 million users. The original membership scheme debuted years ago as a thank-you initiative for the telecom operator’s initial 100 million adopters, and the ‘revamped version’ focuses on shielding consumers from potential tariff increases while delivering added value across Jio’s expanding digital ecosystem.
Jio Prime: Locking in recharges for 12 months
The main feature of the revived Jio Prime offering is a comprehensive price-guarantee mechanism valid through September 5, 2027. This provision allows enrolled subscribers to continue purchasing their preferred qualifying recharge packs at the current price points. The members are shielded from the impact of such rate increases even if the general tariffs across the telecom sector rise in the guarantee window of one year.
Jio Prime cashback vouchers and privileges
In addition to rate certainty, tAnd the program also includes a few subscriber-only incentives, in addition to rate certainty. These are (1)
