Watch: Iran fires missile towards US targets with 'GAME OVER USA' painted on it

Iranian state media on Monday released launch footage showing a ballistic missile bearing the words “GAME OVER USA” painted in red along its body, as Tehran continued its “eye-for-an-eye” military operation following recent US strikes on Iran. The footage, broadcast by Iranian state media, appeared to show the missile being launched toward what Iran said were American military targets in the Gulf. The authenticity of the video and the claims surrounding the strike could not be independently verified. The video was released hours after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it had carried out a three-phase missile and drone operation targeting US military facilities in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait. According to the IRGC, the first phase targeted Jordan’s Prince Hassan Airbase, while the second phase struck Bahrain’s Sheikh Isa Airbase. In the third phase, Iran claimed it had “completely destroyed” fuel tanks and Patriot air defence systems at Kuwait’s Ali Al-Salem Airbase, along with a “strategic FPS radar system” at Ahmed Al-Jaber Airbase. The claims have not been independently verified.Iran said the operation was launched in response to US military strikes on Iranian targets and warned that retaliatory operations would continue. It also cautioned against further US military involvement in the Strait of Hormuz, saying it “would not allow continued foreign military interference” in the strategic waterway. The latest escalation comes after US Central Command (CENTCOM) launched a fresh wave of precision strikes across multiple locations in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radar infrastructure, missile and drone launch sites and small tactical vessels.“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade. Iran does not control it,” CENTCOM said.In a post on X, CENTCOM said the strikes were ordered by the US President to degrade Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.“At 5 p.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching more strikes against Iran to continue degrading their ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The Commander in Chief has directed the strikes to hold Iranian forces accountable,” CENTCOM said.
