A woman from a village near the LoC went missing while grazing her goats, with officials suspecting she may have crossed into PoK along with the livestock
JAMMU: A married woman who went missing from Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district Friday is suspected to have crossed the LoC into PoK, officials said.Rubina Kousar, a resident of Karni village near the LoC, took eight goats out for grazing but did not return. Officials said preliminary investigation suggested she might have crossed the LoC with the livestock.It was not immediately clear if she crossed inadvertently while grazing the goats or did so deliberately, they added. “Several persons living along the LoC sometimes inadvertently cross over.”Recently, a girl from PoK was sent back to Pakistan after crossing over into Poonch.
